Mixing: Lady Madonna

Studio Three (control room), EMI Studios, Abbey Road
                Producer: George Martin
                Engineer: Geoff Emerick

The final studio session before The Beatles flew to India to study meditation with Maharishi Mahesh Yogi was for creation of final mono mixes of Lady Madonna.

The session lasted from 4.30-6pm, and it is unlikely that The Beatles took part. Eight mono mixes of the song were made, numbered 3-10, after which the song was ready for release the following month.

A stereo mix was not needed at this stage, and one was not created until 2 December 1969 for the US compilation Hey Jude.
